Circopedia Award

Circopedia.org presented its first Award for Excellence in the Circus Arts on August 18, 2015 at the 1st International Festival of Circus Arts of Israel in Ashdod, Israel. This international award is presented in recognition of an exceptional achievement in the circus arts, in terms of either performance, education, or promotion of the circus arts. Circopedia.org is solely responsible for the choice of its award's recipients. The Circopedia Award can be presented more than once, or not at all, in any given calendar year.

2015

  • Amateur Circus Studio Vesar, Arkhangelsk, Russia — Presented the 18th of August 2015 at the International Festival of Circus Arts of Israel, in Ashdod, Israel.

2016

  • Andrey & Anastasia Dementiev-Kornilov and the Kornilov Dynasty, Russia — Presented the 5th of September 2016 at the 15th International Youth Festival of Circus Arts at Circus Nikulin in Moscow, Russia.

2017

  • Circus Juventas, Saint Paul, Minnesota, U.S.A. — Presented the 3rd of August 2017 at Circus Juventas in Saint Paul, Minnesota, U.S.A.

2018

  • Dandies (Johnny Gasser, Yury Kreer, Kirill Ivanov), Switzerland, Russia — Presented on the 9th of September 2018 at the 17th International Youth Festival of Circus Arts, at Circus Nikulin in Moscow, Russia.

2019

  • The Knie Family, Switzerland — Presented on the 5th of October 2019 at Circus Knie in Lausanne, Switzerland.

2022

  • Gia Eradze, Russia — Presented on the 6th of November 2022 at Circus Ciniselli in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
