James Washington Myers's Cirque Américain occupied the courtyard of the Magasins Réunis building, Place du Château d'Eau (today Place de la République) in Paris, from 1875 to 1879. The building houses today (2013) the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Poster by Stafford & Co. Ltd., Nottingham (1876) — Library of Congress, Prints and Photographs Division, Washington, D.C.
