Lucien Gruss, haute école aux longues rênes (high schoolA display of equestrian dressage by a rider mounting a horse and leading it into classic moves and steps. (From the French: Haute école) with long reins), at the International Circus Festival of Monte Carlo (1975). The off-screen technical description of the act is made by the great circus photographer—and former Cadre Noir equestrian—Paul de Cordon ((1908–1998).
