Hand-to-Hand Balancing

Sergii Popov and Mykola Shcherbak come from the world of competitive gymnastics. Sergii was born in 1985 and Mykola in 1987, both in Ukraine. Both are Honored Masters of Sports Acrobatics, and were members of the Ukrainian national team of Sports Acrobatics from 2001 to 2009. Their career in the field of Pair Sports Acrobatics is impressive: two times European champions (2005 and 2007), two times World Champions (2006 and 2008), World Cup of Sports Acrobatic winners in 2005, and Champions of Ukraine multiple times.

They got their first break as a performing team when then participated in the television show Ukraine Got Talent in 2009. From there, it just went uphill: A coveted Gold Medal at Paris's Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain in 2011; a Gold Trophy at Moscow's 5th World Circus Festival; and the prestigious Gold Clown award at the 37th International Circus Festival of Monte Carlo in 2013, among many other international awards.

They made their performing debut at the Krystallpalast Varieté in Leipzig, Germany, in 2010, and have been featured since at Teatro Circo Price in Madrid, at the Palazzo in Mannheim, Germany, at the legendary Moulin-Rouge in Paris, at Circus Carré in Amsterdam, among other prestigious venues. They made their American debut in 2015 at Circus Sarasota, in Sarasota, Florida.
