 There, the first teacher that really inspired her was Zizi Rascos, with whom Cryzta studied tightwire; she described him as “a pure aesthete, full of musicality.” She eventually worked exclusively with him, and also trained in Russian acrobatics technique with Zoltan Szoke and his wife, Silvia Tochabo. Her first trapeze teacher was Lionel Hassin.

Palacy finalized her acrobatic training on the tightwire&mdash;although, as an aerialist, it was not his specialty&mdash;and taught her swinging trapeze. Then, she went on to work for three years with the ''Compagnie des Saltimbanques'', a French "new circus" company.

Her family was not involved in showbusiness, but there was an obvious artistic and creative streak on her mother side.  Cryzta began training in gymnastics at age four, and at age nine, she started taking ballet classes.  She thought her first ballet teacher, Gabriella Hogendorf, was by far the most beautiful woman in town&mdash;and she still wonders if this was because of her looks or the grace of her movements. But she was a major influence in the future Crystalle's sense of aesthetics.
