Poster designed by Charles Kiffer (1902-1992) for Paris's Cirque Medrano. It announces the circus's "new style"—when it began to present a mixture of traditional circus acts along with acts such as singers, comedians, and dancers who were usually seen in variety theatres. They were presented in what was called the "Floor Show", which was presented on a floor covering the ring during the second half of the performance (1949) — Private Collection
