Liubov Pisarenkova, aerial hoopA heavy metallic hoop used as a variance of trapeze, usually with contortion moves. (Also called Cerceau.) act (excerpts), at the Circus of Astrakhan in Russia (c.1970). Her assistant is the acrobat Viacheslav Borisenko, her husband at the time. — Excerpted from the Russian documentary, "Life in the Circus".
