Paris's Cirque d'Hiver, c.1995, before the restoration of its façade. The original imperial eagle above the "Cirque d'Hiver" cartouche had disappeared in 1870. It has since been restored. The first element of the frieze on the right after the central panel has disappeared, and has been replaced by a molding of the left one. It has been restored in 2008. — Photo: Pol, Paris.
