Paris's Cirque d'Hiver, c.1995, before the restoration of its façade in 2008. The original imperial eagle above the "Cirque d'Hiver" cartouche had disappeared in 1870 (it has been restored). The first element of the frieze on the right after the central panel above the entrance had disappeared, and had been replaced by a molding of the left one. It has been restored in 2008. — Photo: Pol, Paris.
