Poster for Le Tigre de Colombo, the French version of Veit Harlan's film, Sterne über Colombo (1953). Since the film's star, Kristina Söderbaum, had a notorious Nazi past (she was famously known as the Werhmarcht's pin-up girl), which she shared with her husband, the director Veit Harlan, the French distributors chose to use Gilbert Houcke, who was a popular circus star in Europe and played a significant part in the movie, as their marketing tool.
