Acrobats
The Florence Honey Girls were a all-female acrobatic act headed by Sydney-born Florence 'Coochie' Honey (1911-1978). Born in an circus family, Florence came to the United States with her family act in 1926. Her father was Alfred Honey, an American gymnast, and her mothere, Daisy, was née St. Leon, an old Australian circus family. Coochie created her troupe of female acrobats (generally a quartet, but sometimes a larger troupe) in the 1950s.
